There is a chance that enemies will drop roses when they are defeated and you are hurt. The health bar is at the top left of the screen. Health is indicated by a rose and rose petals.
Dying this way will mean you need to recollect everything that wasn't saved. If so, you'll go back to the last place the game saved. The game will then ask you if you want to continue. More permanent death occurs if you die while in a battle. Any teeth or bottles that you pick up (and then proceed to die) will still be retained. Everything will revert back to how it was before you died. If you happen to die, you'll be transported back to the last place you stood. Healthĭying isn't a bad thing in this game, as you don't really get punished for it. While she's shrunk down, she cannot jump, float or attack enemies. These hidden platforms/bridges will always be there, but you will only be able to see then when Alice is shrunk down. It can also uncover hidden platforms and bridges. When you've shrunk down, you'll have the special Shrink Sense which allows you to view hidden graffiti on the walls. To get into small areas like keyholes, you'll need to shrink Alice.
Shrinking is by far the most important move in the game, as it will help you when you are lost, or when you need to find certain things. In order to continue floating, you will need to twirl. You'll slowly lose height as you travel in the direction you jumped to. In some instances, the gap may be too large, so Twirling will need to be combined with Floating.įloating is performing by holding when in mid-air. Twirling is necessary when crossing large gaps. In mid-air, you are able to jump up three more times. Quicking tapping will allow you to perform a quick jump. There are two ways to jump in the game - a quick jump, and a high/long jump.
